Tanyati La Petite Fleur was due for a mating the day that I lost her sister, Tanyati L'Esprit de Chanel. I could not bring myself to go through with the mating and so I kept Fleur separated from the love of her life, Ch Witherford Censored (imp UK). Well, they would have none of that and organised their own romantic 'get-away' (literally!) and were found leaping and bounding through the fields on the plot. This little flurry in the woods was their honeymoon! Being the clown of Tanyati, Fleur will not sit still when she sees a camera and I'm afraid I do not have a proper photo of her. You'll have to make do with the only ones she stayed still long enough for me to focus the camera. Fleur did us all proud on Monday 17 April by giving birth to 7 lovely puppies. As one always wants in a breeding female, she gave birth with no problems at all and the first 5 pups were born in less than 2 hours! Fleur is carrying on the tradition of her mother, grandmother and great grandmother of having easy, trouble free whelps. She is a relaxed, sensible mother, who loves her pups and they already show great promise and the super temperament that Tanyati Boxers are well known for.
